چکیده
Accurate retrieval of ice surface temperature (IST) over the Arctic ice-water mixture zone (IWMZ) is significantly essential for monitoring change polar sea environment. Previous researchers have focused on evaluating accuracy IST in pack regions, possibly account availability situ measurement data. Few them assessed IWMZ. This study utilized Landsat 8/TIRS and Operation IceBridge observations (OIB) to evaluate current method IWMZ proposed an adjustment improving overall accuracy. An initial comparison shows that 8 OIB minor differences region with RMSE 0.475 K, MAE 0.370 K cold bias −0.256 K. In thin region, however, are more significant, 0.952 0.776 warm 0.703 We suggest this phenomenon because classification misclassified as water. To address issue, adjusted refine features within thus improve using imagery. The results demonstrate retrieved two cases was improved decreasing by about 0.146 Bias 0.311 0.129 After adjustment, high achieved both

Determining Effective Factors on Land Surface Temperature of Tehran Using LANDSAT Images And Integrating Geographically Weighted Regression With Genetic Algorithm
Due to urbanization and changes in the urban thermal environment and since the land surface temperature (LST) in urban areas are a few degrees higher than in surrounding non-urbanized areas, identifying spatial factors affecting on LST in urban areas is very important. Hence, by identifying these factors, preventing this phenomenon become possible using general education, inserting rules and al...
متن کاملLand surface temperature retrieval from LANDSAT TM 5
In this paper, three methods to retrieve the land surface temperature (LST) from thermal infrared data supplied by band 6 of the Thematic Mapper (TM) sensor onboard the Landsat 5 satellite are compared. The first of them lies on the estimation of the land surface temperature from the radiative transfer equation using in situ radiosounding data. The others two are the mono-window algorithm devel...
متن کاملLand Surface Temperature Retrieval from LANDSAT data using Emissivity Estimation
Land surface temperature (LST) is an essential factor in many areas like global climate change studies, urban land use/land cover, geo-/biophysical and also a key input for climate models. LANDSAT 8, the latest satellite from LANDSAT series, has given lot of possibilities to study the land processes using remote sensing. In this study an attempt has been made to estimate LST over Chittoor distr...
متن کاملNear-Surface Air Temperature Retrieval Derived from AMSU-A and Sea Surface Temperature Observations
A 10-m air temperature (Ta) retrieval using Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit A (AMSU-A) and satellite-derived sea surface temperature (Ts) observations is presented. The multivariable linear regression retrieval uses AMSU-A brightness temperatures from the 52.8and 53.6-GHz channels and satellite-derived daily sea surface temperatures to determine Ta. A regression error of 0.838C using 841 match...
